"Value for money sushi in Rivonia (@ Kamiya Sushi) I must be totally honest here; we walked in, I looked at my fiancé and said, “this place is a dive ” BUT BOY, WAS I PROVEN WRONG! While this may appear to be a small sushi takeaway joint at first glance, this was the BEST SUSHI IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME We paid R169 for all you can eat sushi and there wasn’t much that was discluded The buffet did include spring rolls, soups & some warm meals too which is always a bonus. From what I could tell, they don’t prepare much to go around the belt but rather prepared as we arrived (as they put it on the belt, we took it off ) Don’t expect much of an atmosphere or a fancy dining experience but I can assure you, the food will surprise you! It’s bloody good"

"Sandton's best kept secret. We have been coming here for years. All the sushi is amazing but they do the best tasting rice. Not crunchy like some place or overcooked like many. The perfect sushi rice."

"We tried the rainbow rolls and salmon hand roll, both were fresh, and we'll presented. Takeaway is the better option, as it’s not ideal for dining in as the toilet facilities could be improved. Service was quick and friendly."

"There is not a place that can compare its sushi to Kamiya. Although small and quaint they have been there for many many years and still makes such amazing sushi. Just a headsup be careful of the Sake :)"
